Bertazzoni making headlines - "Bringing sexy back"
Bertazzoni brought sexy back
to the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show
Since its founding in 1882, Italian brand Bertazzoni has recognized the kitchen as the heart of the family home. But that doesn’t mean the appliances have to be rated PG. At the recent Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas, COO Nicola Bertazzoni acknowledged the very warm response to the company’s latest offerings. “One comment I keep hearing is: ‘Wow, that’s the sexiest appliance I’ve seen,’” he told Business of Home’s Lizzy Reisinger.
On-site at the event, Reisinger spoke with several designers visiting the Bertazzoni booth about the brand’s newest products and approaches, including its sleek matte colorway Carbonio, its eco-friendly induction cooktops and the customizable metal components of its Heritage collection, among others. As Sarah Robertson from Westchester, New York–based Studio Dearborn told Reisinger upon surveying the impressive display of gleaming steel, gunmetal gray and glossy red ranges, dishwashers and wine fridges: “We’ve seen so many advances in technology. Now [we] want to bring it home.”
